Small-Group Teaching

The Integrated Approach at our kindergarten is conducted in small groups. Teachers encourage and guide students to learn on their own initiative through hands-on and interactive activities. The small group setting also allows our teachers to better understand the characteristics of each individual student so as to customize the teaching activities.

Picture Book Lessons

Picture books, with their rich literary and visual features on a wide variety of themes, could facilitate children’s linguistic, cognitive, and emotional developments. Attractive illustrations and vivid storylines could also help children develop a love for reading. Therefore, we construct our students’ learning experience around picture storybooks of selected themes. The interactive process allows opportunities for discussions and helps students improve their problem-solving abilities through cooperative activities.

The books to be read are:

K1: The Very Hungry Caterpillar

K2: Swimmy

K3: 植物的秘密 (Plant Secrets) and 時鐘國王(King Clock)
